Vidya Balan is the most important actor in ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’

It is a known fact that Mohit Suri’s much-awaited film, ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’, is inspired by��the real life story of filmmaker��Mahesh Bhatt’s parents. ��Bhatt has now gone on record to say that it is Vidya Balan who is the most important actor of the film.

Speaking to��Hindustan Times, Bhatt said, “She (Vidya) is the most important actor in the project. ��Emraan is important, too, but since the narrative unfolds from the woman’s perspective, I needed a woman with a certain degree of Indianness.”

It can be noted that while this is the first time Balan will be working with Bhatt’s company, Vishesh Films, Emraan Hashmi has worked with them many times in the past but will be reuniting with the production house after quite some time with this film.

‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’ has also been in the news recently as Bhatt will be releasing a novel later this month, based on the story of the film.

The film is slated to release on 12th June.
