Vicky Kaushal to replace Akshay Kumar in ‘Veeram’ remake?

2014’s Tamil film ‘Veeram’ is apparently all set to be remade in Hindi and it was to have Akshay Kumar in the lead role. However, it now seems that the makers have approached Vicky Kaushal as Kumar had to opt out.

The film is reportedly titled ‘Land Of Lungi’ and will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala who had been in talks with Kumar. Unfortunately, Kumar’s schedule is so tight with the proejcts he currently has in hand that things didn’t work out.

It’s thought that Kaushal was suggested by Kumar and the former has had a meeting with Nadiadwala about the film. The latest report suggests he’s already signed on the dotted line.
