Varun Dhawan clarifies that ‘Dilwale’ not just a “Varun Dhawan film”

Varun Dhawan has spoken out about playing the second lead in Rohit Shetty’s upcoming ‘Dilwale’, also starring Shah Rukh Khan.

“I have decided to do this now somewhere it is written I have said Dilwale is a Varun dhawan film. This is not true.��#Dilwale is and always will be a Rohit shetty film. @iamsrk is the leader and main hero of the film in reel and real life,” expressed the actor through social media site Twitter.

Dhawan went onto add, “Headlines are taken out of context. I am a part of Dilwale and have given my dil to #dilwal. So be ready for #Dilwale18Dec.”

Talking about his co-stars Shah Rukh Khan, Dhawan tweeted, “@iamsrk is the coolest actor I have ever worked with. He has helped me and pushed me to always perform better. He’s my fav costar.”

Also starring Kajol and Kriti Sanon, ‘Dilwale’ is set to release on 18th December.
