Varun-Alia in ‘HSKD’ sequel titled ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’?

Just over a month ago BizAsia reported that Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt would be seen in Shashank Khaitan’s next which would be a second instalment of Dharma Productions’ ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ (2014). Now, more details have emerged including the finalised title of the film which will be ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’.

This time the film will have an Uttar Pradesh backdrop, according to Box Office India. Also, the film will be a love story which is expected to go on the floors in the first week of May.

Bhatt will be focusing on ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ alongside Gauri Shinde’s next once she has finished ‘Kapoor and Son’s promotions. Dhawan, on the other hand, will be starting Khaitan’s film once he’s finished with his brother Rohit’s directorial ‘Dishoom’ which he is wrapping up currently. He will be shooting for ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ in one go.
