After three months of peeping through the infamous ‘Bigg Boss’ house, Urvashi Dholakia has been named as the winner of this year’s series.

The TV actress beat off competition from celebrity image consultant Imam Siddique, who had to settle with second place. Dholakia walked away with the Rs 50 lakh prize and waiting for her in the audience was her mother and two children.

Dholakia has become the third consecutive female winner of the reality TV show. In season four, Shweta Tiwari won the programme and Juhi Parmar grabbed the winning title last year.

Dholakia was amongst 15 celebrities in the ‘Bigg Boss’ house this year. She was known for her upfront and loud attitude. According to DNA India, she was often got involved in verbal spats with Imam, Sapna Bhavnani and Delnaaz Irani, but she patched up with them, creating amicable relations with everyone on the show.

The finale was hosted by ‘Dabangg’ hero Salman Khan and featured specials guests Prabhudheva, Emraan Hashmi and Tusshar Kapoor.

In terms of entertainment, Khan danced to the track ‘Pandeyji Seeti’ from his movie ‘Dabangg 2’, while Prabhudeva shaked a leg to a track from his upcoming release ‘ABCD: AnyBody Can Dance’. Hashmi meanwhile gave viewers the first look of ‘Ek Thi Dayaan’
and Kapoor and actress Neha Dhupia came to promote their new reality comedy show ‘Nautanki: The Comedy Theatre’.
