The repeat telecast of cult-classic ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ on Utsav Gold, easily won the ratings war against blockbuster premiere ‘Saiyaara’ on Sony MAX on Saturday night in the UK, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.
‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol aired at around 17:00 and raked in 8,400 viewers, while the premiere of Yash Raj Films’ other Bollywood spectacular ‘Saiyaara’ clocked in just 4,400 viewers.
Earlier in the day, ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’ on Utsav Gold was the most watched Bollywood film with 13,000 viewers, while the premiere of ‘Housefull 5A’ could only manage 2,000 viewers at 21:00 on Utsav Gold.
