UK ratings: Star Life Ok gets best ever figures

Star Life Ok has delivered the best ever ratings in the UK beating some of the older contenders, according to official data obtained by BARB.

The channel, which has been on a ratings high with popular shows like ‘Devon Ka Dev Mahadev’, ‘Savdhaan India’ and ‘Welcome’ got a weekly reach of 558,000 (up from 480,000 last week). Star Life Ok beat Zing in the ratings, which suffered a setback this week – down to 441,000 (460,000 last week).

Sony SAB TV was another one that touched another ratings high this week with a weekly reach of 457,000 (445,000 last week). Sunrise TV was next to follow with a reach of 320,000 (291,000 last week), followed by Sahara One with 251,000 (221,000 last week). 9XM was at the bottom with 185,000 (165,000 last week).

At the top was the undisputed leader, Star Plus with a weekly reach of 1,222,000. UMP Movies remained second in the pecking order with 775,000 and Rishtey was next with 718,000. Star Gold was in fourth with 592,000 – down from last week 645,000.
