UK ratings: Rishtey stays at No.2 behind Star Plus

Rishtey remained the second most watched Asian channel in the latest batch of UK ratings, according to official data for week ending Sunday 11th October 2015.

Star Plus increased its weekly reach by attracting 1,017,000 viewers (last week 911,000 viewers), followed by Rishtey with 791,000 viewers (last week 815,000 viewers), UMP Movies with 733,000 viewers (last week 657,000 viewers), &TV with 731,000 viewers (last week 699,000 viewers) and Colors with 709,000 viewers (last week 576,000 viewers).

The next tier consisted of SAB TV with 572,000 viewers, Zing with 558,000 viewers, Star Gold with 554,000 viewers, Hum TV with 537,000 viewers, Life Ok with 364,000 viewers, PTC Punjabi with 301,000 viewers and Geo TV with 294,000 viewers.

The bottom tier consisted of DM Global with 232,000 viewers, Venus TV with 217,000 viewers, Prime TV with 215,000 viewers, PTV Global with 205,000 viewers, Sikh Channel with 173,000 viewers, Brit Asia TV with 156,000 viewers, Akaal Channel with 110,000 viewers and TV99 with 86,000 viewers.

ARY News remained the market leader as the most watched South Asian news channel with 485,000 viewers (last week 424,000 viewers), followed by Geo News with 368,000 viewers and Geo Tez and SAMAA TV with 238,000 viewers. Dunya TV registered 230,000 viewers, followed by ABP News with 160,000 viewers, Aaj Tak with 152,000 viewers, NDTV 24×7 with 148,000 viewers and News18 India with 84,000 viewers.
