TV actress Mrunal Thakur to star in ‘Sultan’?

For some time now, it’s been evident that a search has been on to find two actresses to star in Yash Raj Films’ production ‘Sultan’, starring Salman Khan. Now, the name being associated to the film is popular TV actress Mrunal Thakur.

Thakur stars in ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ and it’s being said that she’s been approached for a role in the film. In contrast to reports, a source told a leading daily, according to Pinkvilla, “The names of a number of actresses floated around, but nothing has been finalised yet. We are still working on it and an announcement will be made soon. We have begun shooting so that we meet our deadline as the release date has already been announced and we do not want to delay the project”.

News has it that Thakur was also approached for ‘Dangal’. An official confirmation is yet to come about whether she’s given the nod to either.
