Rumours are abound in the media for the return of the much-loved show ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon’ with previous star Barun Sobti. However it is unlikely to see the former popular pairing of Sobti with Sanaya Irani but instead with Surveen Chawla as the new female lead.
Whilst no official announcement has yet been made on both the show or the female actress, teasers on social media hint at Sobti returning as his character Advay Singh Raizada with Chawla hot favourite to be part of an updated version of the show. Chawla, who has been part of ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9’ and Anil Kapoor’s ’24 Season 2’ is considered to provide a glamourous look to ensure high ratings.
Sobti, who was recently seen in ‘Tanhaiyaan’ has previously worked with producer Gul Khan and shares a good relationship with the production company.
