Sunrise Radio ceases on digital radio in Scotland

Sunrise Radio has ceased broadcasting on digital radio in Scotland, leaving the station to concentrate solely in London.

Sunrise Radio had been simulcasting its London output to listeners in Glasgow and Edinburgh with opt outs specifically targeting the Scottish Asian audience.

Recently, Sunrise Radio terminated its output nationally on digital television and on digital radio in the West Midlands.

Sunrise Radio has also started up a ‘Listeners Contributions’ scheme to help fund the station’s future.
