Sunny Deol talks about bald look in ‘Ghayal Once Again’

Sunny Deol has spoken out about his bald-look in the upcoming 90s sequel ‘Ghayal’.

The film, which releases in January, introduces four debutants, Shivam Patil, Rishabh Arora, Diana Khan and Aanchal Munjal, who trace the journey and trials of Ajay Mehra – played by Deol. The legendary actor told Mumbai Mirror that it took five-six hours for the prostehtics to achieve the look in the film.

UK-based prosthetic and makeup artist, Clover Wootton was roped in to work on Deol’s look. Talking about this, co-producer Sunil Saini said, “She worked on the look before the shoot.” Talking about Sunny’s look preparation, Saini said, “But he was happy because this was also what he had wanted. He’s been under a lot of stress and mental trauma in jail and the shaving of the head is part of the treatment. It has a calming effect on him and puts him on the path to recovery.”

‘Ghayal Once Again’ releases on 15th January 2016.
