Star TV signs exclusive deal with Dish Network USA
In what is set to shake up the USA digital Asian TV market, Star TV has signed an exclusive contract with satellite platform, Dish Network.
Dish Network will be the exclusive satellite carrier of Star TV’s channels Star Plus and Star Life Ok. Furthermore, Star TV will also be launching its HD version of Star Plus exclusively on Dish Network.
It will be interesting to see how the industry will react to this major change, which took place this morning.
Previously, Star TV Network channels were available on Dish Network and rival platform, Direct TV. Star TV channels on cable platforms remain unchanged.
