Star Plus launch ‘Jhanak’ spin-off show ‘Ishani’

Star Plus has unveiled ‘Ishani’, a brand-new daily spin-off from its popular drama ‘Jhanak’. The new series will premiere on Thursday 3rd July and will air daily for 30 minutes.
The storyline centres on Ishani, a character originally introduced in ‘Jhanak’ as Jhanak’s close friend. Now stepping into the spotlight, her narrative takes a 20-year leap, portraying her as a middle-aged woman who is forced into marriage with a widower who has children. Ishani once aspired to become an IPS officer, but fate had other plans. The series will follow her journey as she enrols in university and rediscovers herself—navigating love, resilience, and second chances.
