Star India has announced that it will be axing its English content channels later this year.
The services including Star World, Star World HD and Star World Premiere HD will be going off-air on 30th November, according to to the Reference Interconnect Offer published by the broadcast network.
Other channels that will cease broadcasting include Bindass, UTV Movies, UTV Action, UTV HD, Star Sports 1 Bangla, Star Sports 1 Marathi and Baby TV HD.
The popular TV network will instead be launching 16 new channels between December and January, with 10 of those going live on 1st December when the new rate card is introduced.
