Sridevi turns down negative role in ‘Fitoor’?

Popular actress, Sridevi is said to have turned down a negative role in Abhishek Kapoor’s upcoming film ‘Fitoor’.

According to Mid-Day, she was offered the role in the film, which is based on Charles Dickens�۪ ‘Great Expectations’.

A source told the publication, ���Everyone is waiting to see what her next film is after ‘English Vinglish’. The film has Katrina Kaif as the leading lady. Sushant Singh Rajput, who was earlier a part of the film, recently walked out of the project. Abhishek wanted Sridevi for a role, which was played by Robert De Niro in the 1998 big screen version of the novel. Abhishek tweaked the script and made it female-oriented.”

However, a source from the production house says, ���Sridevi couldn�۪t be part of the film, as she thought she wasn�۪t the right choice for the role.�۝

Earlier this week, Sushant Singh Rajput confirmed he was no longer a part of this project.
