Sooraj Pancholi marked his debut in 2015’s ‘Hero’. Since then, he has signed two more films, one of which is centred around football. The actor spoke about his own fitness routine recently.
Filmfare reports the actor revealing, “Before Hero I didn۪t have a strong back. My legs were weak too. But I worked on them. Now, the focus isn۪t on getting that perfect body but on staying in shape.”
The actor also confirmed that he’s a regular gym-goer – around six times a week. He said, “When I۪m shooting I make sure that I stay in a hotel which has a gym. Or else I carry my resistance tubes. I have my entire kit in the car all the time”.
The actor also revealed that he doesn’t have a dietician. “I don۪t have carbs at night. I don۪t avoid salt but yes I try to avoid sugar. If it۪s a body shot and you want to look good and ripped then you cut out the salt. I tried it during Hero. It works but it drains you out. It۪s not healthy, he cautions. He has started doing free hand and body weight exercises on mentor Salman Khan۪s advice,” concluded the actor.
Pancholi has already started work on his football film, being helmed by Pierre Timmins.
