Sony grabs mega hit Kal Ho Naa Ho

Sony Entertainment Television Asia is seriously becoming the home to massive blockbusters. Giving its rivals a run for their money, the channel now boasts about its latest blockbuster movie acquisition Kal Ho Naa Ho. Recently Sony announced that it has walked away with the movie rights to Koi Mil Gaya and this year’s big hits Murder and Masti.

Now the channel, will be screening Kal Ho Naa Ho, which stars none other than Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta. Neeraj Arora, Vice President for International Business, Sony said: “Sony Entertainment Television Asia has a long history of bringing the biggest films to our viewers? television screens first and this festive season is no different. With Masti & Koi Mil Gaya this October and Murder and Kal Ho Na Ho just around the corner, our viewers can look forward to a stunning line up of the best from Bollywood.”

These four films are part of Sony?s festive sizzler season which will launch with the premiere of Masti on Sunday October 10th at 8pm. Following this will be the premiere of Koi Mil Gaya on Sunday 24th at 8pm with Murder and Kal Ho Na Ho showing for the first time later in the year.

Now the question remains, what will ZEE Network and STAR’s big crowd puller be? ZEE has already announced that it will be screening this year’s superhit movie Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, what next?! We’ll find out soon.
