Sonam & Priyanka say no to Ice Bucket Challenge

The Ice Bucket Challenge seems to have become a trend online.�� The challenge, which was invented to create awareness about ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), has been taken on by many celebrities in the west and also some Bollywood celebrities.�� However, Sonam Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra are among two of the celebrities in India who refuse to accept the challenge, due to water shortage in parts of India.

After being nominated, Kapoor tweeted saying, ���already made a donation !! Not dumping water 🙁 waste of resources !�۝

On the other hand, the likes of Akshay Kumar, Bipasha Basu, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonakshi Sinha, Riteish Deshmukh, Sunny Leone and Karan Wahi, among others, have already taken on the challenge.

It can be noted that many parts of India suffer due to shortage of water and this topic was also discussed on Aamir Khan�۪s popular television show, ��Satyamev Jayate�۪.
