SLB gives 21 Lakh compensation to deceased painter’s family

Sanjay Leela Bhansali has handed out a Rs. 20.80 Lakh compensation to the family of a painter, who was died on the sets of ‘Padmavati’.

DNA India reports that three members from the film’s production met with the widow of the painter earlier today.

Gangeshwar Shrivastava, general secretary of film workers’ union, was cited in the publication saying, “Around 70-80 workers, who were on set during the incident, decided to donate a day’s salary to the Dakias. The amount comes to around Rs 2.2 lakh.”
