Shriya Saran to star opposite Ajay Devgn in ‘RRR’

After the major success of the ‘Bahubali’ franchise, everyone’s eye is on SS Rajamouli’s next big venture ‘RRR’. Standing for ‘Roudram Ranam Rudhiram’, Ajay Devgn had been finalised for the film a while ago. It was finding the lead actress that seemed to be a problem, until now.

According to Filmfare, Rajamouli has contracted Shriya Saran to play opposite Devgn in the film. During an interview, the actress revealed, “I have an emotional role in the film that comes during the flashback episodes. I will be shooting with Ajay Devgn for the role in ‘RRR’. Hope to join the sets once the coronavirus lockdown gets lifted and international flights resume.”

Also set to star Alia Bhatt , Ram Charan and Jr NTR, ‘RRR’ is planned to release in January 2021.
