Shraddha Kapoor ousted from Akshay Kumar’s ‘Gabbar’

Shraddha Kapoor, who has been bagging herself some plum projects, has had to let go of a film opposite Akshay Kumar due to genuine date issues.

The actress is currently shooting for Mohit Suri’s ‘The Villain’ (2014) and Vishal Bhadwaj’s ‘Haider'(2014), which will affect the dates of Kumar’s ‘Gabbar’. This film was set to be rolled out in early-January. However, at this time, Kapoor will be in Kashmir shooting with Shahid for Hyder. So, she is in a soup over her dates.

While Kapoor tried to adjust her dates to accommodate ‘Gabbar’, the makers failed to understand how she could be in Kashmir by day and Mumbai by night. Also, ‘Haider’ is being shot in winter and the weather in the Valley would naturally be affected because of the extreme cold. So, in other words, there’s a good chance that schedule could spill over. This eventually led to ‘Gabbar’ makers to release Kapoor from the film.
