Shahid Kapoor & SLB hold secret meetings for ‘Padmavati’?

With rumours of tensions between Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ranveer Singh, it seems Shahid Kapoor is the filmmaker’s golden boy currently.

DNA India reports that the latter two have had secret meetings to discuss ‘Padmavati’. Earlier, it was reported that Kapoor was after a more meatier role than what was offered as the third lead. Apparently, Bhansali has tweaked the script to accomodate Kapoor’s request.

Singh is still said to be a part of the project but Kapoor’s role is said to be equivalent in size in the film. The report adds that this has made Singh insecure and could walk out of the project. Until now, this can only be perceived as hearsay.

Let’s hope Bhansali puts rumours of the final cast to rest soon.
