Sanjay Dutt to be released for 10 days

Sanjay Dutt is expected to leave Yerawada Central Jail to return home for a ten-day break.

According to Times Of India, the authorities at the prison have given the all clear to the actor for treatment of a leg ailment. He will fly from Pune on a chartered flight belonging to a personal friend. Once home, the actor will get immediate medical attention.

Whilst at home, Dutt will be able to catch up with his wife Manyata and twins Shahran and Iqra. His sisters Priya and Namrata live a floor below with their respective families and so he will be able to spend time there too.

Dutt surrendered before a Mumbai Special Court on 16th May to serve the remainder of the sentence after his conviction in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case.
