Arjun Kapoor and Parineeta Chopra’s next ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’ will be predominantly based and shot in Delhi. The duo have also said that Delhi will be shown in a never-before seen light.

Kapoor and Chopra who are teaming up again post ‘Ishaqzaade’ (2012) are excited about working with director Dibakar Banerjee and the way he will present the capital city. The director is known for his grit and realism.

“Incidentally, I have shot six out of my nine films in Delhi. And for my 10th, I’m again heading back to the city that has given me so much love. I’m thrilled to explore the city through Dibakar’s eyes and I can tell you that you all will see a very different Delhi from what you’ve seen before”, said Kapoor, as reported by HindustanTimes. The actor will also be living in an apartment in middle-class Delhi to get into his character of a Haryanvi cop.

Chopra also expressed her love for the city stating “Delhi holds a very I special place in my heart. I consider Delhi to be my home, too. It has always showered me with love whenever I have travelled to the capital for promotions or otherwise. Arjun and I start shooting in Delhi and Gurgaon for ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’. The film will bring out a side to Delhi that has been quite unexplored in films before. I’m excited to experience Delhi like never before and explore it in this entertaining and gritty Dibakar Banerjee film.”

Filming is expected to start next week for the film.
