Salman Khan takes swipe at AR Murugadoss over ‘Sikandar’ comments

During a recent episode of Bigg Boss 19, Salman Khan addressed the criticism surrounding his film ‘Sikandar’, particularly comments made by director AR Murugadoss about the actor’s late arrivals on set.
Responding with trademark sarcasm, Salman said, “I used to arrive on set by 9 PM… but my ribs were broken,” subtly mocking Murugadoss’s claims that night shoots disrupted production. He went on to reference the director’s latest release ‘Madharaasi’, quipping that its lead actor arrived at 6 AM, yet the film still underperformed: “It’s a very big film… even bigger than Sikandar,” he added with a smile.

Salman also revealed that ‘Sikandar’ originally involved both Murugadoss and producer Sajid Nadiadwala, but both eventually distanced themselves from the project. Despite the film’s lukewarm box office performance, Salman maintained that he had no regrets, stating, “The plot was good. I don’t believe it was a mistake.”
