Salman Khan not approached for Rakesh Sharma biopic?

There’s been much talk about astronaut, Rakesh Sharma’s biopic with a number of stars linked to the project. The film titled ‘Sare Jahan Se Achcha’, was initially set to feature Shah Rukh Khan and then went to Ranbir Kapoor. Recently, it was reported that Salman Khan was offered the project.

A source told The Asian Age, “Salman Khan has not been approached to play Rakesh Sharma. At the moment, producer Siddharth Roy Kapur is making every effort to rope in an A-list actor.”

It is said that Aamir Khan was first offered the film but he decided to put his muscle behind a cinematic version of ‘Mahabharat’, which was later dropped.
