Rohit Shetty known for his continuous hit films – ‘Golmal’ (2006),’Bol Bachchan’ (2012) and his recent release ‘Chennai Express’ (2013), which broke records worldwide, is reluctant to take on newcomers.

Shetty, who has worked with many well reputed and commendable actors such as Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and Abhishek Bachchan, believes that money can be a little issue when it comes to considering newcomers in his films.

He told a reporter from Hindustan Times, “It depends on the budget, you cannot make aRs.100 crore film with newcomers especially when it’s not your money”

However, it looks like there could be a bright future for newcomers wanting to star in Shetty’s films as he added, “If I get a script where I feel that I need a newcomer and the budget is small or whatever, I will definitely do it. But I need to see the script, and I need to feel that, okay, now I can make the film with a newcomer.”

As Shetty indirectly states he is not competitive, does this indicate signs of fearing failure if he does take on newcomers?
