Rohit Chandel granted bail in POCSO case after two months
Television actor Rohit Chandel has been granted bail in a POCSO case by a Mumbai Sessions Court.
The court granted bail on Thursday, 10th September, following an earlier bail application being rejected earlier this month. The court reportedly noted the seriousness of the alleged offence while allowing Chandel’s release on bail.
Chandel is expected to be released on Friday, 11th September, subject to completion of the required legal and administrative formalities.

The actor, known for his television work including ‘Sairaab’, was arrested in connection with the case and had remained in custody pending the court proceedings.
The allegations remain subject to the ongoing legal process, and the granting of bail does not amount to a finding on the merits of the case.
