Ranbir Kapoor felt low due to lack of release

Ranbir Kapoor has opened up to a publication that he felt low after ‘Bombay Velvet’ was postponed from last year to this year and he did not have any other films to look forward to for nearly two years.

Talking to PinkVilla, Kapoor said, “Bombay Velvet got pushed from last year to this year. So I as an actor also felt a little low as I didn�۪t have a release for one and a half years. But then I also realized that the intention to push the film was to better it. They didn�۪t push the film because of a personal reason. They felt that this film is Anurag�۪s dream project; lets work on the vfx, lets work on the edit, and lets present the best film possible. And the producers have to pay interest on it. Still they were taking that step so that was quite admirable. So I was quite attuned with the way things were going about.”

‘Bombay Velvet’ releases on 15th May.
