Priyanka Chopra’s ‘Jai GangaaJal’ gets stuck at censor board
The Indian film censor board (CBFC) has come down heavy on Prakash Jha’s next film ‘Jai Gangaajal’.
According to reports, the film starring Priyanka Chopra is said to be stuck with the board over a number of cuts. The film was initially set for release with an ‘A’ (adult) certificate but Jha was not in agreement.
The Hindu reports that Jha was told by the CBFC to clean out some dialogues and visuals to make the film eligible for a ‘UA’ certificate. However, Jha tweeted, Misleading and inaccurate! Never made voluntary cuts.. We are going in appeal against the CBFC۪s decision…
‘Jai Gangaajal’ releases on 4th March 2016.
