Priyanka Chopra keen on producing regional films

Priyanka Chopra is on a professional high. She is juggling between her acting commitments in India and abroad, along with a popular singing career. Now, she is all ready to don the producer’s hat, as BizAsia has reported previously, and revealed that she has a few scripts in hand.

As according to Pinkvilla, Chopra is eager to produce regional cinema. She said,��”I want to work with new talent. I want to do small films with new directors, writers and new actors. I know that getting a foothold in the industry is tough and can be��a struggle. Currently, I am working on a few Hindi as well as regional scripts, with new talent.��I should be announcing that in the next month or so. As of now, I have almost finalized three regional and two Hindi films. I will produce all kinds of regional cinema as well. I have always maintained that promoting regional cinema is important.”

Chopra was last seen as Kashi in ‘Bajirao Mastani’ (2015).
