Priyadarshan confirms ‘Hera Pheri 3’ remains stalled amid legal tussle
The long‑anticipated film ‘Hera Pheri 3’ remains stalled, with director Priyadarshan confirming that the project cannot proceed until a series of legal issues are resolved. Despite sustained public interest and repeated speculation about the film’s revival, the production continues to face obstacles relating to rights and ownership.
Priyadarshan has acknowledged that the team is keen to move forward but is currently constrained by unresolved disputes. He told Mid-Day, “It is still. There are some legal issues. We are trying to sort it out. Once that is sorted, then we’ll go ahead with that film.”
The complications stem from conflicting claims over the franchise’s rights, which have resulted in a prolonged impasse. These issues have prevented the producers from finalising key elements of the project, including casting, scheduling and pre‑production planning.
