Prime Video forks out an astronomical Rs. 250 crore on ‘Adipurush’ rights?

With the cinema release of ‘Adipurush’ just days away, rumours are rife that Amazon Prime Video has forked out an astronomical Rs. 250 crore for the digital rights to the mythological film.
The film starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan, has been made on a budget of over Rs. 550 crore, with makers already recovered around Rs. 430 crores before the film has released at cinemas.
It is rumoured that he satellite rights of the film have also been secured by Prime Video, which it will then resell to one of the major satellite channels.
