Brits continue to ditch subscription streaming services

Official data suggests that Brits are ditching streaming services, in figures reported by television audience measuring body, BARB.

BARB’s Establishment Survey has reported that in the first quarter of 2023, 19.08 million homes had access to streaming video-on-demand services. But that figure was a drop from 19.42 million at the end of 2022.

The survey found Netflix, Prime Video and Disney+ saw the biggest loss. NOW and Apple TV+ gained some subscribers.
