Peshwa family object to their portrayal in ‘Bajirao Mastani’?

Looks like Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’ has fell into another court case, as the Peshwa family has objected to the way they are being shown in the film. Bajirao’s heirs have taken the matter to court.

As according to the Free Press Journal, the heirs are upset at how they are being portrayed in the film. In turn, the Central Board of Film Certification will not be granting a censor certificate until their demands have been met. Although, exactly why these objections arose, is yet to be revealed. Distributors, Eros International has denied the latest news.

‘Bajirao Mastani’ stars Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, and Deepika Padukone, and is slated to release next month.
