Overnights: ‘YRKKH’ gives Star Plus boost on Friday in UK

India’s longest running fiction, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ worked its magic in UK ratings on Friday by taking the No.1 spot and putting Star Plus ahead of its rivals, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

Currently ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ is featuring build-up scenes of Anmol and Mansi’s wedding. The mehhndi ceremony aired last night was watched by 92,000 viewers at 18:30, followed by ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 86,500 viewers, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 78,100 viewers, ‘Krishna Chali London’ at 21:00 with 54,600 viewers and ‘Ishqbaaaz’ with 32,300 viewers.

Sony Entertainment Television was at No.2 with a share of 0.07% with ‘Mere Sai’ attracting 46,000 viewers at 19:00, followed by ‘Indian Idol 10’ repeat at 17:00 with 13,000 viewers and ‘CID’ repeat at 14:30 with 12,000 viewers.

Star Bharat was placed in third with a share of 0.05%. ‘Savdhaan India’ was top show with 34,400 viewers at 22:00, followed by ‘Jiji Maa’ at 19.30 with 16,800 viewers.

Rishtey crept up to No.4 with a share of 0.04% with ‘Rasoi Show’ attracting 19,900 viewers at 17:00, followed by ‘Ishq Mein Marjawan’ at 20:00 with 13,200 viewers and ‘Balika Vadhu’ at 21:00 with 12,500 viewers.

Hum TV also delivered a share of 0.04% with ‘Zun Mureed’ raking in 23,900 viewers at 20:00.

ZEE TV‘s share was at 0.02% with ‘Zindagi Ki Mehek’ raking in 15,900 viewers, followed by ‘DID Little Masters’ re-run at 22:00 with 7,100 viewers.

Colors fetched a share of 0.02% with ‘Roop’ repeat at 16:00 pulling in 10,300 viewers, followed by ‘Bepannaah’ at 15:30 with 9,400 viewers and ‘Savitri Devi’ at 19:00 with 5,800 viewers.
