Overnights: Sunday fictions score on Star Plus

Star Plus’ new strategy to extend its weekday fictions to seven days a week has worked a treat last night in the UK.

According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 led with 90,500 viewers, followed by ‘Saathiya’ at 19:00 with 90,200 viewers and ‘Mere Angne Mein’ at 17:30 with 84,300 viewers. ‘Suhani Si Ek Ladki’ at 18:30 also did well with 81,000 viewers. Regular Sunday show ‘Dance +’ did average with 43,000 viewers at 20:00.

On Colors, ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ at 21:00 was top show with 25,000 viewers, followed by ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ at 22:30 with 13,400 viewers and ‘The Anupam Kher Show’ at 20:00 with 8,500 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Nail Polish’ at 19:30 took lead with 10,300 viewers, followed by ‘Adrishya’ at 20:00 with 1,100 viewers.

On &TV, ‘India Poochega Sabse Shaana Kaun’ at 19:00 did well with 24,000 viewers, followed by ‘Deal Or No Deal’ at 20:00 with 18,400 viewers and ‘Agent Raghav’ at 21:00 with 6,700 viewers. Movies ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ at 22:00 and ‘Badshaah’ at 16:00 pulled in 3,600 viewers and 3,000 Viewers respectively.

On Hum TV, ‘Mr Shamim’ topped ratings with 23,900 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Chulbul Paye’ at 20:00 with 17,100 viewers and ‘Tamasha’ at 21:00 with 14,900 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Dulha Bana Bakhra’ at 21:00 did well with 12,200 viewers, followed by ‘Maikay Ko Dedo Sandesh’ at 19:30 with 7,600 viewers.
