Overnights: Star Plus’ ‘Pratigya’ bows out on a high

One of Star Plus’ much loved show ‘Mann Ki Awaaz..Pratigya’ ended on Saturday evening (27th October) with a decent enough audience, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia from Attentional.

‘Pratigya’, which had its grand finale weekend special aired on Saturday night at 19:00 was one of the highest performing shows for the channel that evening.

The telecast of the special 60-minute episode between 19:00 – 20:00 had an average audience of 63,300, peaking at 90,000. It was beaten by ‘Diya Aur Bati Hum’ and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ in the 21:00 slot.

The regular penultimate episode of ‘Pratigya’, which aired on Friday night at 22:30 also fared extremely well with 131,800 – peaking at 153,000. It also beat the channel’s top drama ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’, which mustered in 127,800 at 22:00. Prior to this, ‘Pratigya’ was only averaging with an audience of 70,000.
