Overnights: Sony TV leads on Sunday in UK; PTC Punjabi stays strong

Sony TV remained the UK’s No.1 Asian TV channel on Sunday, while PTC Punjabi also performed strongly, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com

Sony TV delivered a share of 0.19%, followed by PTC Punjabi with 0.14%, Star Gold and Hum TV with 0.09%, Star Plus with 0.08%, Sony MAX with 0.06%, New Vision TV with 0.05%, Colors and Colors Rishtey with 0.04%, ZEE Cinema, NDTV 24×7, BritAsia TV and Republic Bharat with 0.03%, Star Bharat, Venus TV, Dunya News, B4U Music, Aaj Tak and ZEE TV with 0.02%. Geo TV and ARY Family recorded a zero share.

On Sony TV, ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ was watched by 53,900 viewers at 21:30, followed by the show’s repeat at 18:30 with 40,100 viewers and ‘India’s Best Dancer’ at 20:00 with 35,900 viewers.

On Star Gold, ‘Helicopter Eela’ at 15:45 attracted 24,600 viewers, followed by ‘Haraamkhor’ at 21:00 with 22,100 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Dil Bechara’ premiere topped ratings with 33,400 viewers at 20:00 – peaking at 42,600 viewers. Earlier in the day, the re-telecast of India V Pakistan cricket in the Asia Cup 2018, mustered in just 5,300 viewers.

On Sony MAX, Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dilwale’ attracted 14,300 viewers at 13:00, followed by ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ at 23:15 pulled in 11,500 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Sabaat’ led with 47,400 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Pyar Ke Sadqay’ repeat at 23:00 with 36,600 viewers and ‘Tarap’ at 22:00 with 20,800 viewers.

On Colors, the fifth series of ‘Naagin’ opened up with 26,200 viewers at 20:00 – making it the top show on the channel on Sunday.

On Colors Rishtey, ‘Balika Vadhu’ topped ratings with 16,100 viewers at 22:00, 13,000 viewers at 21:30 and 9,600 viewers at 21:00.

On ZEE TV, ‘Out & About’ led with 11,600 viewers at 10:00, followed by ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs’ at 19:00 with 8,800 viewers.
