Overnights: Sony TV leads Christmas Day; ZEE TV surges ahead

Sony TV continued to lead in UK ratings on Christmas Day Sunday, while ZEE TV witnessed a surge, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Sony TV delivered a share of 0.14%, followed by Utsav Plus, ZEE Cinema and New Vision TV with 0.08%, Colors with 0.07% and ZEE TV with 0.06%.

Sony TV’s top shows on Christmas Day were ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ at 21:30 with 64,000 viewers, followed by ‘Indian Idol’ with 36,000 viewers.

ZEE Cinema’s premiere of ‘Raksha Bandhan’ led with 27,100 viewers and ‘RRR’ at 21:00 with 15,500 viewers.

ZEE TV also did well with ‘Bhagya Lakshmi’ at 20:30 scoring 72,400 viewers and ‘Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam…’ at 20:00 with 34,900 viewers.
