Overnights: ‘SaraswatiChandra’ tops Monday

‘SaraswatiChandra’ was back on top of the UK ratings last night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

The drama at 19:30 pulled in 206,800 viewers – peaking at 269,800 viewers. It was followed by ‘Saathiya’ at 19:00 with 192,700 viewers and ‘MasterChef India’ got 190,900 viewers.

The others in the pecking order were ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ (187,300), ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ (185,700), ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ (165,200), ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’ (145,300), ‘Veera’ (145,100) and ‘Ek Ghar Banuanga’ (54,600).

On Rishtey, ‘Bairi Piya’ held on to the baton as the most watched show on the channel with 38,900 viewers, followed by ‘Bani – Ishq Da Kalma’ with 38,500 and ‘Jeevan Saathi’ next with 35,300 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Devon Ka Dev Mahadev’ was the leader with 30,100 viewers, followed by ‘Amrit Manthan’ with 22,900 viewers and ‘2613’ with 20,000 viewers.

On Sony SAB TV, ‘BaalVeer’ topped the channel’s ratings with 40,500 viewers, followed by ‘Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ with 40,400 viewers and ‘Jeanie Aur Juju’ next with 37,400 viewers.

On Zing, ‘Bollywood Business’ got the highest viewership during primetime on the channel with 7,700 viewers. ‘Cloud 9’ got 1,200 viewers at 18:30 but rated zero at 22:30.
