‘Meri Aashiqui’ tops Rishtey ratings

Delivering one of the best ever figures for a weeknight, Rishtey proved the top choice last night in UK Asian TV ratings.

According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, the channel’s ‘Meri Aashqiui’ was the top show with 143,500 viewers – peaking at 163,000 viewers, followed by ‘Parichay’ with 130,600 viewers and ‘Yeh Hai Aashiqui’ at 21:30 with 108,400 viewers. ‘Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha’ at 19:00 also did well with 71,500 viewers.

Ratings on Star Plus also held on well with ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ on top with 181,500 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ with 151,800 viewers and ‘Saathiya’ at 19:00 with 136,100 viewers. ‘Suhani Si Ek Ladki’ at 18:30 did very well with 101,800 viewers and ‘MasterChef India’ in fifth with 98,400 viewers. ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon – Ek Baar Phir’ was up in its new slot at 17:30 with 93,400 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss Halla Bol’ stayed top with 103,000 viewers, followed by ‘Code Red’ at 22:00 and ‘Udaan’ at 20:00 with 46,600 viewers.

On Sky Living, the third episode of ‘Desi Rascals’ was up on last week’s episodes. The show got its biggest rating since launch. It delivered 106,100 viewers at 20:00 – peaking at 151,000 viewers (figures include Sky Living +1).

On Hum TV Europe, ‘Badi Aapa’ was back on top with 76,300 viewers, followed by ‘Zid’ at 20:00 with 58,500 viewers.

On Prime TV, sitcom ‘Honeymoon’ at 23:30 was leading show with 6,600 viewers, followed by ‘Aslam Bhai & Company’ at 19:30 with 6,500 viewers and ‘Kal Tak’ with 5,900 viewers at 21:00.

On Life Ok, ‘Savdhaan India’ took lead with 20,200 viewers at 22:30 and ‘Comedy Classes’ earning the second spot with 17,100 viewers.
