Overnights: ‘Meri Durga’ keeps afternoon strong on Star Plus

Star Plus’ experiment to trial out original shows in the afternoon band seems to be working well for the channel, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

The biggest show on the channel yesterday afternoon was ‘Meri Durga’, which airs at 12:30. It pulled in 40,800 viewers – peaking at 55,400 viewers. The other original shows in Star Plus Dopahar also did well with ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ at 13:00 with 27,100 viewers and ‘Ek Aastha Aisi Bhee’ at 13:30 with 21,800 viewers. Later in the evening, ‘Naamkarann’ remained the leading show with 92,800 viewers, followed by ‘Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil’ at 20:00 with 78,200 viewers and ‘Chandra Nandini’ at 20:30 with 77,700 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Swabhimaan’ took lead with 34,200 viewers at 21:30, followed by ‘Savitri College & Hospital’ at 18:00 with 21,200 viewers and ‘Devanshi’ at 19:00 with 18,000 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Thapki’ topped ratings on the channel with 56,700 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Kasam’ at 20:30 with 55,900 viewers and ‘Uttaran’ at 18:30 with 34,900 viewers.

On &TV, ‘Agnifera’s stayed on top with 27,000 viewers, followed by ‘Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi’ at 20:00 with 19,800 viewers and ‘Santoshi Maa’ at 18:30 with 3,100 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Sangsaar’ at 23:30 attracted 39,900 viewers, followed by ‘Jithani’ at 19:30 with 33,000 viewers and ‘Phir Wohi Mohabbat’ at 20:00 with 20,400 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Geo Khelo Pakistan’ at 21:15 delivered 14,400 viewers – peaking at 41,100 viewers, followed by ‘Dil Dil Pakistan’ at 16:00 with 9,800 viewers with 9,800 viewers – peaking at 50,400 viewers.
