Star Plus’ fiction ‘Meri Bhabhi’ has managed to topple rival shows to take the pole position in the UK ratings, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

‘Meri Bhabhi’ at 20:00 pulled in 170,900 viewers – peaking at 188,100 viewers, followed by ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ with 169,100 viewers and ‘Mahabharat’ taking third place with 159,300 viewers.

The others in the pecking order were ‘SaraswatiChandra’ (147,600), ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ (140,000), ‘Saathiya’ (114,400), ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ (96,000), ‘Veera’ (93,900), ‘Ek Ghar Banaunga’ (67,500) and ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon 2’ (32,900).

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 7’ stayed in pole position but nearly halving its audience since its launch on Sunday night. The show could only pull in 48,700 viewers at 21:00 last night. ‘Balika Vadhu’ (repeat) at 17:30 got 32,800 viewers, while ‘Uttaran’ repeat at 18:30 got 21,500 viewers. ‘Mrs Pammi Pyarelal’ at 19:00 attracted 19,700 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Ek Boond Ishq’ did very well for the channel with 30,900 viewers, followed by ‘Mahadev’ next with 18,400 viewers and ‘Savdhaan India’ in third with 14,200 viewers. ‘Gustakh Dil’ got 13,700 viewers and ‘Geet’ (re-run), ‘Kaisa Yeh Ishq Hai’ and ‘Do Dil Ek Jaan’ both got 11,000 viewers. ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon’ (re-run) in Hindi got zero, while the English dubbed got 1,100 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Bani – Ishq Da Kalma’ was top with 74,300 viewers, followed by ‘Na Aana Iss Desh Laado’ next with 72,900 viewers and ‘Laagi Tujhse Lagan’ in third with 58,700 viewers.
