Star Plus clinched back the lead in UK ratings on Monday, despite competition from Geo TV and Colors. However, the competition between the non-fiction shows on Colors and Sony TV was interesting, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Amongst the top shows on Monday were ‘Mariam Khan’ at 19:00 on Star Plus with 75,400 viewers, followed by ‘Ishqbaaaz’ at 20:00 with 69,900 viewers, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 69,100 viewers and ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 68,400 viewers. ‘Krishna Chali London’ and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ clocked up a share of 63,600 viewers and 63,100 viewers respectively.

Colors’ ‘Bigg Boss 12’ dropped its audience by nearly a half with 35,500 viewers since its launch on Sunday. The big news on Monday was that Sony TV’s ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ got a bigger audience with 43,500 viewers in the 21:00 slot – head-to-head with the reality show.

On Geo TV, ‘Mann Ki Moti’, ‘Beyreham’, ‘Beti Jaisi’ and ‘Tum Se Taluq Hai’ clocked up an audience of 19,300 viewers each.

On Hum TV, ‘Sadqay Tumharay’ was watched by 18,300 viewers at 21:00.
