Overnights: Hum TV climbs despite Ramadan

Hum TV’s plan to revert its schedule back to some sort of normalcy due to a drop in viewership seems to be working, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

Recently, the channel witnessed a dip in its ratings after Ramadan coverage was broadcast during 18:00 – 21:00 resulting in primetime fictions being shifted to a later slot. Last night’s show ‘Karb’ at 20:00 led with 33,900 viewers, followed by ‘Muqadas’ with 28,400 viewers at 21:30. ‘Tum Jo Milay’ at 22:30 raked in 19,000 viewers and ‘Iftaar Package’ at 21:00 pulling in 15,400 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ led with 118,400 viewers, followed by ‘Saathiya’ at 19:00 with 77,600 viewers and ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ with 75,400 viewers. New show ‘Badtameez Dil’ at 20:30 debuted with 47,700 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Balika Vadhu’ topped ratings with 24,300 viewers at 19:00, followed by ‘Code Red’ at 22:00 with 18,500 viewers and ‘Ashoka’ at 21:00 with 16,300 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Meri Aashiqui’ stayed above the rest with 32,800 viewers, followed by ‘Laado’ at 21:30 with 16,700 viewers and ‘Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan’ at 21:00 with 16,500 viewers.

On &TV, ‘Razia Sultan’ repeat at 22:30 was top with 33,300 viewers, followed by ‘Dilli Wali Thakur Gurls’ at 23:00 with 32,000 viewers and ‘Gangaa’ at 20:00 with 15,000 viewers.
