One of Star Plus’ much loved shows ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’ has returned to the top spot in the UK, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia from Attentional.

The weekday 20:30 show pulled in 176,200 viewers last night (Thursday) – peaking further to 215,000. The show is currently under the scanner and no doubt these figures will be encouraging for producers and the channel. In the UK recently, the show has consistently been able to achieve higher viewing figures than any other time over the past few months.

‘Saathiya’ was slightly ahead of ‘Pyaar Ka Dard Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara’ in the number two spot – both getting 162,000 – but ‘Saathiya’ with two hundred more viewers. ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ was in fourth place with 150,300 viewers at 21:00. A resurgent ‘Yeh Khamoshiyan’ was in fifth place with 144,400 viewers. ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ received a viewership of 135,200 viewers. ‘Kaali’ and ‘Veera were at the bottom of the chart.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Savdhaan India’ continues to impress with over 35,000 viewers last night between 22:30 – 23:30. The reality show ‘Welcome’ at 20:00 was in second place with 33,500 viewers. ‘Devon Ka Dev Mahadev’ at 20:00 also consistently pulled in a huge audience, around 30,800 viewers for the 20:00 slot last night.

‘Jeevan Saathi’ on Rishtey at 20:00 was watched by a huge 70,000 viewers. Meanwhile, Zing’s local production ‘Cloud 9’ had its viewers settling with 4,700 tuning in at 18:30. The repeat at 22:30 got a zero rating. The 10:30 and 16:30 early repeats got just under a thousand viewers.
