Overnights: BritAsia TV & PTC Punjabi share No.1 spot on New Year’s Eve

BritAsia TV and PTC Punjabi overtook all major Asian channels including Star Plus, Sony Entertainment Television and Colors to clinch the No.1 position in UK ratings on New Year’s Eve Tuesday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

PTC Punjabi and BritAsia TV led UK ratings with a share of 0.17%, followed by Star Plus and Colors with 0.13%, New Vision TV with 0.08%, Sony Entertainment Television and Hum TV with 0.05%, Colors Cineplex with 0.04%, ZEE Cinema, Sony SAB TV and Colors Rishtey with 0.03%, Star Gold, ZEE TV, Geo TV, Samaa TV, B4U Movies, Sony MAX, Sony MAX 2 with 0.02%.

BritAsia TV’s biggest attractions on New Year’s Eve were ‘Big Names – Massive Hits’ at 19:00 with 48,300 viewers, followed by ‘Fresh Hits’ at 13:00, ‘Trending Hits’ at 15:00 and ‘Big Tunes’ at 19:30 all raking in 46,900 viewers.

On PTC Punjabi, the channels’ prime time schedule after 21:00 delivered a strong 48,800 viewers.
