Overnights: Star Screen Awards 2019 propels Star Plus UK on New Year’s Eve

Star Screen Awards 2019 proved a huge success for Star Plus UK on New Year’s Eve – Tuesday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Star Plus was the biggest Hindi entertainment channel with a share of 0.13%, same as Colors with the same share. They were followed by New Vision TV with 0.08%, Sony Entertainment Television and Hum TV with 0.05%, Colors Cineplex with 0.04%, ZEE Cinema, Sony SAB TV and Colors Rishtey with 0.03%, Star Gold, ZEE TV, Geo TV, Samaa TV, B4U Movies, Sony MAX, Sony MAX 2 with 0.02%. Surprisingly, PTC Punjabi and BritAsia TV led UK ratings with a share of 0.17%.

On Star Plus, Star Screen Awards – Main Event at 20:30 was watched by 47,400 viewers – peaking at 112,300 viewers. This was followed by ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 19:30 with 36,200 viewers, ‘Sanjivani’ at 19:00 with 34,300 viewers and Star Screen Awards – Parde Ke Peeche at 18:00 with 19,100 viewers. Earlier in the day, Star Screen Awards – Red Carpet UK at 16:30 pulled in 1,800 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 13’ stayed strong with 78,600 viewers at 21:30, followed by Filmfare Awards repeat at 15:00 with 18,500 viewers and ‘Choti Sarrdaarni’ at 19:30 with 17,400 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘Mere Sai’ at 19:00 led with 28,700 viewers, followed by ‘Patiala Babes’ at 20:30 with 21,900 viewers and ‘Beyhadh 2’ at 21:00 with 21,600 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Main Na Janu’ was watched by 27,100 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Love Ke Lye’ at 18:00 with 22,100 viewers and ‘Ahmed Habibi Ki Betiyan’ at 18:30 with 19,700 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ‘Dil Yeh Ziddi Hai’ topped with 21,100 viewers at 18:00, followed by ‘Ye Teri Galiyan’ at 17:30 with 11,800 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Tu Mera Junoon’ was watched by 16,800 viewers at 21:00.
